I have recently exhibited my jewellery at The Babylon Gallery with my husband Bob. There were a few reasons for this show namely;

• the culmination of observations carried out at Wicken Fen over a few years
• a way of getting ourselves known around Ely for the work we do and how we produce it/advertising
• a boot up the backside to getting work done prior to Cambridge Open Studios
• to generate some income...if possible

On all fronts this has been an extrememly sucessful venture and has left us bouyant and incredibly excited.

Full-time (34 hours per week) Person/Lead For the Wood Workshop. Salary guide: £16,000 You will have the temperament to work well with people, be motivated, and to lead a busy, creative training workshop, supported by volunteers, and working with small groups of students. The wood workshop fulfils commissions and creates pieces for display and for sale in Rowan’s Gallery on the premises. Designs are supplied; input welcomed. Hands-on experience is required of working with, and maintaining, hand-held and power tools, and larger machines such as band saws, lathe and others.

Danny Segal has been in touch to offer his services. Danny was employed by Abacus for over 20 years and had particular responsiblity for their colour reproduction.
