Joining Cambridge Open Studios
Membership of Cambridge Open Studios is open to anyone who creates original works of art or craft. Members must have their home and studio in Cambridgeshire or in the CB postcode area.
Benefits
Members have their own space on the website, including a gallery of images, where they can display their work to the world. The pages can be updated whenever you like using your own personal log in. The system is very easy to use and guidance is provided. Once you have joined you will be able to log in immediately and create your page and start uploading images.
Members can also post events they are organising, such as Private Views, on the COS Events pages, details of which will be circulated to our mailing list. Members’ details appear in the printed Guide to our annual Open Studios event in July. The Guide is distributed throughout the region.
COS is run by artists for artists. It is a friendly and supportive community where members can share their ideas, interests and problems. A special event is held to welcome new members and everyone can make use of the COS blog to post information and start discussions.
COS is a company limited by guarantee and all members have voting rights and can attend the annual general meeting held in February.
How to join
You can apply to join COS for the next calendar year any time between September and December. Annual membership costs £25, plus an additional £25 admin fee if you were not a member of COS in the previous year.
