Cambridge Open Studios
Welcome to the website of Cambridge Open Studios, a flourishing community of artists, craftspeople and designer-makers working throughout Cambridgeshire. Our aim is to help bring artists and local people together, providing opportunities for the public to visit the workshops and studios of people working in a wide range of crafts and media, including: furniture-makers, sculptors, jewellers, print-makers, textile artists, graphics and multi-media, potters, photographers and painters – to talk directly to them about the techniques they use and the passions that inspire them.

Events and exhibitions
See what exhibitions and events are coming up on our Events pages. Exhibitions are held throughout the year and many artists also run courses. Every summer over 200 hundred artists take part in the annual Open Studios event, inviting the public into their work places over four weekends in July. The 2012 event will take place on the weekends of July 7/8, 14/15, 21/22 and 28/29.

Arts community
The website provides access to a vibrant creative arts community and all-year-round events. Browse our Artist search pages to find details of our 350 plus members. Search for an individual artist or for those working in particular media. You can also find out which members offer tuition or who welcome visitors. View information about galleries and other arts organisations in Cambridgeshire on the Galleries and Arts organisation pages.
