Participation in Cambridge Open Studios 2008 Please note that the deadline for returning 2008 participation application forms will be 12 noon on 14th February 2008. However, participation is restricted to 220 Guide entries and this is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Returning your participation form by the deadline does not guarantee you a place.
There are three types of participation. All participants must be members.
1) INDIVIDUAL - Cost: £140.00 for a single Guide entry for your studio Two or more artists who fully collaborate on all their work can be treated as an individual participant e.g. Nick & Kathleen Abbott. Individual participants will have index entries under their own names.
2) SHARED STUDIOS - Cost: £140.00 per artist
This applies when two
or more artists wish to share a studio space but each wants to have an
individual Guide entry. It also applies when two or more artists
have separate studio spaces under the same roof or adjacent to one
another at the same address, e.g. Cambridge Artworks, St Barnabas Press.
This is described as a "shared studio" for administrative purposes,
since each entrant will share the same location and map reference. When
an artist is part of a "shared studio" situation as described above,
they must collaborate with their fellow studio members when completing
their participation forms. This means they must send them all in
together with one map, otherwise we will not know how many artists
are showing. 2) GROUP ENTRIES - Cost: £300.00 This is for two or more artists who have already joined as individual members. The group will have a single Guide entry, at a single venue, in the Group name. Please note that the Medium Index listings, and any publicity, will also be in the Group name only.
