Potter, illustrator

Animal and bird sculptures, tiles, ceramic pictures, plus a selection of functional ware. Also tonal drawings, illustrations and editioned prints.

I studied Ceramics in Melbourne, Australia, where I worked as a teacher and studio potter for several years. I have also studied printmaking and illustration and enjoy working in a wide range of mediums.I am a member of the Anglian Potters and the Cambridge drawing society and exhibit work in various galleries /exhibitions through out the year . I take much of my inspiration from the shapes, forms and patterns found in nature but I am also prone to flights of fancy on occasions. I work in stoneware and earthenware clays. Although much of my work is sculptural in nature I also make decorative bowls, vases, tiles and plates. My current work on paper consists mainly of tonal pencil drawings, ink, mono and digital prints.
