Jewellery - Fused Glass and Silver

I've been making glass and silver jewellery, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and brooches.  I use coloured and transparent glass, fuse it with Dichroic glass and fine silver, and use sterling silver mounts and fixings.

I'm aiming to use colour and sparkle to lift, glisten, dazzle and effect mood enhancing change.  After all what is jewellery for?

Lustred dishes - tiny delicacies

I have been playing with the effects I can get from using Lustres on glass.  Tiny experiments, giving me joy and delight.  Hope you like them too....

glass, fused glass, painted glass
Fused glass, I'm making pictures, vessels, jewellery but often something else entirely. I'm exploring, learning, surprised & delighted with glass.

I studied at Ravensbourne Art College, then 3D Design at Leicester Polytechnic (now De Montfort University) where I first blew glass. A lifetime of creativity later, I find I’m again working with glass.

I am delighted to have been invited by Maureen Mace to exhibit my glass at her Open Studio again this year - on July 8 & 9, July 15 & 16 and July 22 & 23 from 11am to 6pm.  Looking forward to seeing you at Studio Number 30 in the Cambridge Open Studio Guide.
