Histon Handmade Christmas November 2019
Histon Handmade is holding its fifth event on Saturday 30th November with another exceptional line up of 23 leading local designers/makers. Doors open from 12pm to 7pm. Entry is FREE.
Histon Handmade was established by jeweller Claire Howieson in 2016. Each event has proved hugely successful and popularity is growing fast. Recent events have seen well in excess of 1,000 visitors. There is also extremely high demand for places to exhibit with Histon Handmade, but the exhibitors are all carefully selected by invitation, ensuring only the highest quality of work is on show. If you made it to any of the previous events, you will recognise some of the exhibitors, but there will also be a number of new ones, as each event is designed to be unique.
Alongside jewellery from founder Claire Howieson, the event will showcase prints and cards from Elizabeth Fraser, Sarah Vigliotti, David Mitchell, and Alison Hullyer, ceramics by Daniela Stief, Sarah Went, and Amanda MacPhail, baskets by Nadine Anderson, glass by Jutta Robinson and Katie Lynn (AKA Molten Wonky), collage from Emma Bennett, books from children’s illustrator Nicola Killen, paintings and illustrations from Roxana de Rond, handmade hats by Sally Wilding (AKA Hedkase), decorative woodwork from Jeremy Nicholls, metal clocks by Rebecca Stark, handmade books from Sue Day and Helen Perry, and jewellery by Abi Cochran and Becky Convey.
And making their first appearance with Histon Handmade, we are also excited to have mosaics and glass from Terry Chance, hand woven scarves and shawls by Nikki Grant, fibre art from Zenia (AKA The Lady Moth), and some tasty treats from Bitesize Bakehouse.
