Art Science collaboration

Jane Frost is participating in Madrid Science week with researcher Ana Lopez Ramirez.

I have been working with Ana Lopez Ramirez, a researcher at Cambridge in the . Her research into Alzheimers uses DNA from zebra fish and includes identifying and marking cells that show under UV light. The fish cells can recycle and re-form to enable healthy fish to thrive, it is hoped that these charachteristics will be tranfserred into treatment of humans.

I have made work that reflects this, using recycled materials and structures, presented in fish tanks and using some materials that reflect UV light.

We have been awarded second prize in the competition and are taking part in Madrid Science week. A  took place on Thursday16th November and was
