Kiln Cambridge is one of the the largest open-access members’ ceramics studio North of London. Kiln Cambridge has been set up by a group of artists to help make the arts more accessible to more people in an affordable way.

Kiln Cambridge is one of the largest open-access members’ ceramics studio north of London. Kiln Cambridge was established by a group of artists in 2019. The vision, to create a place where ideas and friendships flourish in a creative artists' community. 

Kiln Cambridge provides a beautiful space for experimentation, creativity and development. Kiln Cambridge has 25 members, with mentoring from Chief Potter, Tarragon Smith, and stimulation and support from other members. The mix of members is diverse, coming from all sorts of backgrounds. Many of them are working in other fields; science, publishing, design, finance and academia amongst others.

Kiln Cambridge will be open to the public over the weekends of 6th/7th and 13th/14thJuly as part of Cambridge Open Studios. Chief Potter, Tarragon Smith, would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors to the studio where he and his fellow potters will showcase their latest productions.

With its relaxing working studio atmosphere and the quality and variety of the ceramics on offer to buy, this is one Open House you don’t want to miss.
