A lifelong love of sewing and 25 years primary school teaching experience came together when I started to teach a range of techniques, including free motion applique, embroidery, smocking, visible mending, patchwork and quilting.

We have always kept animals, adding sheep into the mix ten years ago led me to learn to spin and then weave. This has been a most absorbing journey over the last few years. I now teach spinning and weaving as well as selling my hand spun and hand woven textile items. I spin on a variety of looms, incuding a Brinkley loom and a 4 shaft Saori loom. I enjoy weaving in the free, instinctive and organic 'saori' style developed in Japan.
