This year I the main theme is Wood Sections. With patterns often appreciated as or even mistaken for textiles, these complement co-exhibitor Louise Thomas's patchwork. Some of Louise's patchworks actually use printed fabics using some of my images. My miniatures of images taken through the microscope can be viewed with a magnifying lens on the day to show their full detail - just as if you were looking through a microscope yourself.
Look at things close up: common and unusual subjects reveal hidden beauty and structures.
You can see these wonders for yourself, whether you are young or old, as I always have a microscope in the studio for you to look through. Everyday objects take on new and surprising appearances.
This year's theme: Colours and textures from the living world.
There will be new pictures on show and for sale, as well as postcards and notebooks. You do not have to be an expert to enjoy them as my interest is in patterns and colours, so please come along and see for yourself.
My joy is to make simple and interesting pictures that still need all of the technical, photographic and digital skills that I have learnt over many years.
I also photograph "normal" subjects, including portraits and onsite photography for businesses. If you have a favourite cuddly toy or teddy, bring them along and have a portrait picture taken together!
