I work with a wide range of African fabrics of varied patterns, colours and origins.

Earrings are made with African fabric. The fittings are either plated silver or antique gold colour.

Art and Science - Showcase Event
Art & Science event
Organised by the Spanish Researchers in the United Kingdom, SRUK. With “Art and Science, a SRUK initiative”, we aim to create a space where both scientists and artists can work together, communicate and learn from each other. We propose this activity in which both scientists and artists will explore the same scientific question or hypothesis. Their different ways to approach to the same study will be later presented to the general public.

An original use of textiles to create pictures and fashion accessories with a passion for fabrics and designs from Africa.
  • Visitors All Year

My work is textile-based, using mainly African fabrics.

I make what I call "Fabric Pictures" on foam board, a technique originally from France, and now focus mainly on two subjects: African women and animals.

I have developed a passion for African fabrics and have been collecting fabrics from different origins. I find the vibrant colours and imaginative patterns fascinating.

Inspired by my collection of fabrics, I designed colourful fashion accessories: necklaces, earrings, scarves and bags. They give a bright ethnic touch to outfits.
