Between 2014 and 2015 the world celebrates both the 100th and the 70th anniversaries of the end of the two major conflicts of the C20th. With a group of Artist friends I would like to convey, with this exhibition, a reminder of these terrible wars, which destroyed the lives of millions of people and decimated many beautiful cities. sculpture, oil & mixed media painting
I make figurative sculpture in bronze, resin and plaster. My paintings have developed from a desire to make sculpture to hang on the wall.

I love the process of making bronze - making work in the same way that artists have worked for thousands of years!

I have a fascination with process and the road that a new artwork takes towards completion. My bronze sculptures show a flash of a face, drawn with a zig zag of metal. Strong gestures give the depth and vigour of mark making to my paintings.

Currently I am working on a series of sculptures featuring negative space.
