Jewellery by Sarah Cain & Roxane Ryan

Roxane and Sarah work together in their studio overlooking fields in rural Cambridgeshire with their three dogs sleeping at their feet. Both artists grew up surrounded by nature. Roxane spent her her childhood playing on the river next to her converted watermill home in Herfordshire; often rescuing and hand rearing abandoned wildlife. Sarah from County Durham spent most of her time horse riding on the North Yorkshire Moors and looking after her many pets. Creating Jewellery depicting British Wildlife is something that they love. The artists carve a mould which is fired and able to withstand silver clay being pressed into it . The silver clay is embelished by hand. It is then dried, fired, sanded and polished; no two pieces are the same.
