I want to pass on my enthusiasm for watercolours and have developed creative workshops for children. The children's workshops aim to teach the children basic watercolour techniques and create vibrant fun pictures to develop their interest in painting.
I ran a family workshop for a 70th birthday which included three generations, the grand children, parents and grandparents.
Feedback from the 70th Birthday wiorkshop - "Thank you for organising such an enjoyable "birthday surprise" for me, I thoroughly enjoyed "dabbling" in watercolour painting again and I think you have encouraged me enough to persuade me to take it up again as a hobby. I was delighted that everyone else thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were quite surprised and very pleased with their results. Your framing over efforts made all the difference.
Thank you for the super art party for Granny's 70th party. It was great! !! George age 8

I practiced as an architect in Cambridge for many years. In parallel with architectural design I have developed my interest in watercolour painting. I specialise in floral painting and coastal landscapes, often drawing inspration from the botanic gardens in Cambridge, the Norfolk coast and the Island of Mull. I have a passion for vibrant colours. I use traditional, solid stick and liquid watercolours as well as acrylic inks. I want to pass on my enthusiasm for watercolours and teach regular weekly classes at various venues.
I teach weekly watercolour classes at St Johns church, Hills Road, Cambridge CB1 7UW on Fridays during term time. Beginners and more experienced welcome. Join for the term or drop in sessions avaliable. I also teach weekly classes at Coleridge School for beginners and improvers.
The next Saturday workshop is on Saturday 28th October in Cambridge 10am- 4pm with lunch included.
I will be teaching teaching further Saturday workshops on 11th and 25th November at Swavesey Village College, painting winter landscapes in the first and experimenting with watercolours in painting gift cards in the second.
