I moved from London to Cambridge in 1978 to work, and my interest in  the natural world has lead me to a love of painting landscapes, trees and natural objects in my studio in Gt Wilbraham.

I am a passionate walker and gardener, both providing a constant source of inspiration for my artwork. Landscapes and woodlands have become a constant theme for me with their challenge of texture, colour and the interplay of light and shade.

I work in watercolours and find it a fascinating and exciting medium, which I often combine with acrylics, inks and pastels to achieve contrast and texture in my work, and enhance the mood and atmosphere of my landscapes.
