Heather Stowell trained as a jeweller/silversmith at Sir John Cass school of art, London, attaining a BA Hons Degree. Heather has been a proffesional jeweller for over 25 years and has a broad experience in the trade. Her current passion is using old and special buttons as 'precious stones' hand setting them with gold or silver. Sentimental pieces can be re designed or 'set' to make your own memory jewellery by carefully transforming them into eye-catching contemporary jewellery. She will be showing the special one off pieces at her shows over the country. Heather is able to be commissioned to set clients 'own' buttons, whether to make a special family piece, keep sake, or to create a truly personal gift for birthdays, christenings or weddings. Each and every design is completely unique. Her work is also found in contemporary jewellery shops and galleries across the UK and has had collections in leading 'designer' outlets in New York and Tokyo.
