Watercolour and Gouache

After a break of eight years from Open Studios  an invitation to exhibit new works for sale with my 'working studio' at The Stapleford Granary was irresistible.

Gouache and more has been an exciting departure and a natural development from my beloved watercolours.

Still life in vivid colours now dominate but watercolours can still be found.

What and where is the Stapleford Granary?

These beautiful 19th century farm buildings have been lovingly restored into a study centre for music, the arts and culture.  There is ample parking in the yard.

Returning to Open Studios after eight years, graceful flowers in pen and watercolour can still be found peeping out among my new paper and canvas.  Gouache has been and exciting departure, and still-life in vivid colours are more often on my easel now.

And of course still a member of Cambridge Drawing Society
